In this document, we present the rules for processing personal data in connection with signing up for our newsletter, registering for an event as an exhibitor, applying for the Greater Poland competition, and applying for press accreditation.

Why, for how long, and on what legal basis will we process your personal data?


Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the Act of May 10, 2018, on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000) and with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR). We further specify the legal bases for processing your data.


newsletter subscribers

Your personal data, which you provided when signing up for the newsletter, will be processed for the purpose of sending information about the fairs we organize, commercial offers, and other information about news, products, and services by e-mail or by telephone. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to sign up for the newsletter.


Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the newsletter’s operation, unless you opt-out of receiving it earlier, which will result in the deletion of your data from the database.


The legal basis for processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).


exhibitors registering for events

By registering for an event as an exhibitor through an online registration form, you must provide the necessary data for registration and contract fulfillment, such as name, billing address, email address, and phone number. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to register and conclude a contract.


The data provided to us in connection with the registration is processed for the purpose of handling the registration and fulfilling the contract (based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), issuing an invoice and including it in our accounting documentation (based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and for archival and statistical purposes (based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).


Registration data will be processed for the time necessary to handle the registration and fulfill the contract and then until the expiry of the limitation period for claims arising from the contract. In addition, after this period, the data may still be processed for statistical purposes. Remember that we are also obliged to keep invoices with your personal data for a period of 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the tax liability arose.


people applying for the Greater Poland (GP) competition

When applying for the competition, you must provide the necessary information for registration and competition execution, such as your first and last name, email address, phone number, and billing address. Providing this information is voluntary but necessary to participate in the competition.


The personal data provided to us will be processed for the purpose of processing your registration, executing the competition, and selecting winners (based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR), issuing and processing invoices (Art. 6(1)(c) of the GDPR), as well as for archival and statistical purposes (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).


The surname of the recipe/project author and/or company name will be posted on https://www.targipiwne.pl/ and https://www.facebook.com/targipiwne based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).


Registration data will be processed for the time necessary to process your registration and then until the expiry of the limitation period for claims arising from the concluded contract. In addition, after this period, data may still be processed for statistical purposes. Please also remember that we are required to keep invoices with your personal data for a period of 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the tax obligation arose.

journalists applying for press accreditation

Your personal data, which you provided during the application for press accreditation, will be processed for the purpose of verifying your identity, granting access to the event, and for communication with you regarding the event. The data provided is necessary for accreditation.


Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the accreditation process, and then for the period of time necessary to fulfil any legal obligations resulting from the accreditation process. The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in ensuring the safety and security of the event and its participants.


recipients of our commercial offers

If you are a recipient of our commercial offers, your personal data will be processed for the purpose of sending commercial information about our products and services, including information about promotions and events, as well as for market research and statistical analysis. The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in promoting our products and services.


Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the agreement with us, unless you object to such processing or withdraw your consent. You can object to the processing of your personal data at any time, by contacting us at the address provided in this privacy policy.


other recipients of our services

If you are a participant or a contractor in any of our other services, such as competitions, promotions, or other events, we will process your personal data for the purposes of organizing the event or providing the service, as well as for billing and accounting purposes. The legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract to which you are a party (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in promoting our events and services.


Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the agreement with us, and then for the period of time necessary to fulfil any legal obligations resulting from the provision of the service. After this period, your personal data may be processed for statistical purposes. Additionally, we are required by law to store invoices containing your personal data for a period of 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the tax liability arose.


Your personal data may also be disclosed to entities authorized to receive it under applicable law, such as law enforcement authorities, or to entities with whom we cooperate in providing our services, such as payment processors or hosting providers.


We take all necessary steps to ensure the security of your personal data, including appropriate technical and organizational measures, as well as regular testing and monitoring of our systems.
